All orders are accepted subject to the following Terms & Conditions and subject to availability. If you book any of our services you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of hire. Prop The Question reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Venue Dressing and Set up of props Cost | Dependent upon clients individual requirements. To be confirmed with clients following the initial consultation.

Hire Only Props | Props will be delivered and unloaded to the venue and collected at the pre agreed date,time and place.Please note this is a drop off service only. Set up and layout is the hirers responsibility. Should you require ” props to be unpacked and set up ”  or ” venue dressing “, we offer this as a separate service.Please get in touch for a quote. All props must be ready for return collection, the following day, unless otherwise previously agreed and packed in original boxes and wrapping, otherwise we reserve the right to charge for time taken and any materials to do this. This will be taken from the security deposit.

Delivery | Available for orders over £100.00 to locations in and around Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire . Delivery costs at 45p per mile apply. . Delivery charges count as drop off to venue, and return to base and collection from venue and return journey to our base.(Return props need to be packed in original packaging/ boxes/bubble wrap and ready for collection all together, unless part of a venue dressing package ) Parking charges, if applicable may apply. If there are stairs or access issues please advise prior.

Booking Fee & Cancellation | To secure a booking, a  Non Refundable Booking Fee  must be paid at the time of booking .Payment is the hirers acceptance and understanding of all terms. The booking invoice is a binding contract between Prop The Question and the hirer, and does not require a signature to confirm this. The transfer of monies, acts as the hirers signature and acceptance. Non signature is not sufficient to cancel this agreement. It is the hirers responsibility to pay the remaining balance. This can be paid at any point, but no less than 6 weeks prior to the event date booked.. This will include a Returnable Security Deposit. When booking is made within 6 weeks of the hire date, the full hire price must be paid at time of confirmation. Once a booking has been made you may add  items on to your original booking but if you wish to remove items they may still be charged for.

We currently accept payment via  bank transfer ,cheque and/or cash. Unfortunately, we cannot take card payments at present.

Should you wish to cancel your order, you may do so in writing at any time. If cancellation is made then you will lose the amount paid up to that point – therefore if you choose to cancel within 6 weeks of your event, then the full amount will be payable. If you choose to cancel earlier than 6 weeks before your event, you will  forfeit the booking fee, minus any bespoke, customised or decor purchased specifically for your event but will not be required to pay the remaining balance.

Loss or Damage of Goods | Although all items remain the property of Prop The Question, whilst in possession of our items you are wholly responsible for them. As the Hirer, you accept full responsibility for the security and safe use of all items hired until collection by PTQ, or return to PTQ. Please make prior arrangements with a member of your party, to have props brought indoors in the event of rainy /incremental weather .It is the hirers responsibility to ensure the props are kept in a secure room/location in the venue following your event until collected by P.T.Q. Please confirm this with your venue. We strongly recommend you take out your own insurance cover.

Garden Games | Please appoint a member of your party or venue staff to ensure games are brought indoors in poor weather so to avoid damage and cost to yourself .It is the hirers responsibility to ensure any  games used by children are age appropriate and that children are responsibly supervised when using the games.

An inventory of items will be supplied with your order – we will check items against this on collection. Please be aware that many of our items are vintage, and not brand new so naturally they may have some flaws and imperfections, consistent with age, wear and tear. We feel this only enhances their natural beauty.

You are liable to cover the replacement costs of any items lost or damaged during your hire period. Please advise P.T.Q. of any damaged or missing items. This includes any packaging / boxes / crates in which items are delivered. Items lost will be charged at 4 times the hire cost. Monies from the security deposit will be used for any repairable props. Alongside your hire cost, you will be required to pay a returnable security deposit. The amount of the security deposit will be advised at time of confirmation of order and will be payable with the final balance. On safe return of all items this deposit will be fully refunded to you via agreed method. Any replacement costs incurred will be deducted from this deposit. In the event that the deposit does not sufficiently cover the cost to replace/repair damaged /missing items, a supplementary invoice will be issued. Items lost will be charged at 4 times the hire cost.

Prop the Question accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by the use of any of the hired items. Items are hired at the customers own risk and for your peace of mind we strongly advise that the hirer takes out separate event/wedding insurance.

Prop The Question will not incur any liability due to the contract not being fulfilled due to events out of our control. Events may include but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, extreme,wet or windy weather conditions, fire, Acts of God or any other events out of our control.

Following booking confirmation we will also require your home address & a form of ID for identification and security purposes. Under no circumstances will we pass on your personal data to third parties unless that party is directly involved in servicing your requirements and you have given your prior permission.
